Backcasting and Calibration
Backcasting involves modeling historical load data to improve the accuracy of future forecasts.
Before doing this, a historical load must first be completed.

Add Command
Open the Command Module and click "Add Command". Choose from one of the Backcast Templates.
Choose a Historical
Choosing an existing historical scenario from the dropdown.
Dispatch Type and Scenario ID
Choose Dispatch Type of the Backcast and add desired Scenario ID.
Event and Out-of-Merit (OM) Bids
Exclude the event file and/or OM bid file from the simulation by clicking them.
If multiple scenarios are present, the top-most scenario in the list will be executed first. When new scenarios are added to Apollo, you must click the Restart button to ensure proper initialization.
